The best adventurers
Exclusive to Vélofuté, we present to you the ranking of the best 21st century adventurers in cycling. A adventurer is a rider who, in road races, is not able to win on the pedals, especially in GT races. Riders like Alaphilippe are therefore excluded.
Only breakaway victories are taken into account. A rider winning solo is not necessarily a baroudeur victory. Most of the time, a baroudeur victory occurs during a morning breakaway.
Scale: TDF victory 250 pts, Giro/Vuelta victory 200 pts, WT victory 100 pts, mountain jersey 80 pts, victory, podium in GT 50/40 pts, leader's jersey worn 20/15 pts, breakaway victory 10 pts,
